Job summary

Northwest Christian Schools is seeking a K–6 Math Interventionist to provide targeted, differentiated math support within the general education classroom. You will collaborate with classroom teachers, identify students needing intervention, monitor progress, and assist with Tier 3 referrals as needed.

The role also includes general classroom support and fostering an organized, engaging learning environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Math or related field.
• Current Washington State teaching certificate.
• Commitment to Jesus Christ and faith-based environment.
• Ability to differentiate elementary math instruction.
• Ability to analyze student performance and identify gaps.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide push-in 50% math support in K–6 classrooms.
• Differentiate instruction and provide targeted reteaching.
• Identify skill gaps and provide targeted interventions.
• Monitor progress and document responses to intervention.
• Support Tier 3 discussions and referrals with ESS staff.
• Assist with classroom preparation and materials.
• Support classroom management and positive behavior.
