Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools seeks an elementary school teacher to provide instructional leadership and nurture learning in a 10-month, full-time setting. The teacher will develop lesson plans, monitor student progress, and implement state standards under supervision.

Responsibilities include delivering instruction in groups and individually, maintaining accurate records for IEPs/504 plans, and collaborating with parents, staff, and administrators to support student achievement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Valid NC Teaching certification or eligible for NC Teaching certification in assigned area.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsabilités

• Adhere to all state, federal, and local laws, policies, and procedures.
• Instruct students individually and in groups using various teaching methods.
• Plan and implement a program of study in the assigned content area that meets student needs.
• Prepare for classes assigned and show written evidence of preparation upon request.
• Meet with parents/guardians to discuss student progress and encourage parent involvement.
