Job description

Role Mission: RISE stands for Reaching Independence through Support and Education. IDEA RISE Intervention Specialists ensure that our students who have a wide range of learning, cognitive, emotional, and physical disabilities are held to very high achievement expectations so that they reach their fullest potential. Our IDEA RISE Intervention Specialists teach all subjects such as Reading, Writing, Math, History, Adaptive PE, and others to students who have, but are not limited to, intellectual, behavioral, and physical disabilities. They also provide resources, education, training, and emotional support to the families they serve to help them prepare for long-term plans for their children.

What We Offer

Compensation:

• The starting teacher salary for 0 years of experience is $51,500. This role is eligible for stipends based on certifications, credentials, and campus leadership, ranging from $500-$4,000. Opportunities through our Teacher Career Pathway can earn you up to $10,000 in additional compensation. For more details, visit our compensation and benefits page.
• Additional hourly compensation is provided for after-school tutoring or Saturday school as assigned.

• Adapt lessons, support related services, develop and implement IEPs, assess student performance, and track progress.
• Communicate with families, facilitate student transitions, and participate in school meetings and professional development.
• Implement state standards, manage behavior, foster a positive school culture, and build strong relationships with students and families.
