Job summary

Bennington Public Schools is seeking a 2026-27K-5 Special Education Teacher for a full-time, 186-day contract. Location is TBD, reporting to the Principal. Candidates must hold a valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate with appropriate endorsement and a Bachelor's degree in education.

Responsibilities include delivering instruction and assessments, building positive relationships with students and providing interventions. Additional duties may be assigned by the Principal or Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education from accredited college or university.
• Nebraska Teaching Certificate with proper endorsement.
• Ability to implement strong instruction and assessment practices, build positive relationships and provide interventions for students.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction and assessments, ensuring inclusion and differentiation.
• Build positive relationships with students, families and staff; provide interventions as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Principal or Supervisor.
