Job summary

Trumbull County Educational Service Center seeks a K-5 Elementary Intervention Teacher to provide targeted reading and math interventions at Mesopo Elementary School under the MTSS framework.

The role requires an Ohio K-5 teaching license, strong collaboration and data-driven instruction, and the ability to coordinate with families and staff to raise student achievement throughout the school year.

Qualifications

• Valid State of Ohio teaching license for K-5
• Successful BCII & FBI background checks

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted reading and/or mathematics intervention in K-5 using MTSS
• Deliver district-approved intervention programs with evidence-based practices
• Progress monitor students and adjust instruction based on data
• Maintain MTSS documentation and accurate intervention records
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to align intervention with core instruction
• Participate in MTSS, grade-level and intervention team meetings
• Communicate student progress with parents, teachers and administrators
• Identify students needing Tier II and Tier III interventions
• Support district literacy and mathematics initiatives
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with district and ODE requirements
• Participate in professional development and improvement activities
• Perform other duties as assigned by the principal
