Prep Academy Tutors – DuPage County is seeking knowledgeable, reliable tutors to work one-on-one with students in-home, supporting academic success across Kindergarten through Grade 12. You will tailor your instruction to fit individual learning styles and help students thrive.

Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree and tend to be certified teachers or graduate students; strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success in a flexible, client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required and one of: a state teaching certificate or active certification program enrollment.
• Experience or eligibility to teach in K–12 with ability to align to Illinois standards.
• Strong communication, adaptability to different learning styles, and reliability are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one tutoring aligned with Illinois curriculum standards.
• Offer remedial or enrichment instruction based on student needs.
• Assign supplemental materials to reinforce understanding and retention.
• Maintain open communication with parents/guardians about progress and goals.
