Sankofa Montessori in Forest Park, GA seeks an experienced ESOL Teacher to provide targeted English language instruction to K-5 English Learners, monitor progress, and collaborate with teachers and families.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
• Valid or eligible Georgia teaching certification.
• ESOL Endorsement or active enrollment in an ESOL endorsement program.
• Knowledge of language acquisition and instructional practices for multilingual learners.
• Strong documentation and data-driven instruction.
• Ability to collaborate with families, teachers, and support staff.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct ESOL instruction to identified English Learners.
• Deliver developmentally appropriate listening, speaking, reading, and writing instruction.
• Differentiate instruction based on language proficiency and student needs.
• Use various instructional models (small-group, push-in, pull-out, collaborative) per service model.
• Develop engaging lessons aligning ELD with grade-level content.
• Support access to standards-aligned curriculum and assessments.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and Student Support Team to plan scaffolds and accommodations.
• Regularly assess and monitor students' language development and progress.
• Complete ESOL records and required documentation accurately and timely.
• Administer and support required ELL assessments (WIDA Screener, ACCESS) as applicable.
