Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited educational institution.
• Valid or eligible Florida Teaching Certification in Spanish (K-12 or World Languages).
• Native or near-native fluency in Spanish and proficiency in English.
• Successful completion of a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
• Prior elementary Spanish or world languages teaching experience preferred.
• Master's Degree in Spanish or related field eligible for salary supplement.

Responsibilities

• Engaging Spanish instruction tailored to K-5 learners.
• Establish routines and implement behavior management with fidelity.
• Differentiate to support ELLs, ESE students, and intervention groups.
• Use formative assessments to track language progress.
• Communicate with families about student growth.
• Participate in weekly meetings and professional development.
