Job summary

Global Educational Excellence (GEE) seeks an Elementary Teacher to deliver engaging, data-driven instruction in a K–5 classroom, manage classroom culture, and support the whole-child development of each student.

The role emphasizes collaboration with coaches and administrators, using assessments to tailor instruction, and actively participating in professional development and planning sessions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Valid Michigan teaching certificate with elementary endorsement, or eligibility for certification through Michigan State Board of Education.
• CAP eligibility determined at application time.
• Satisfactory criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver standards-aligned instruction that produces measurable student growth
• Build positive, achievement-focused relationships with students
• Use formative and summative assessment data to adjust instruction and meet individual student needs
• Implement a tiered system of support within the classroom
• Coordinate instruction within and across grade levels
• Communicate regularly with parents, coaches, and administrators regarding student progress
• Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and collaborative planning sessions
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive classroom environment
