Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• Strong instructional and classroom management skills.
• Valid Wisconsin teaching credential or willingness to attain one.
• Minimum of 12 educational teaching credits required after 3 years.
• 1–3 years of teaching experience, urban experience a plus.
• Experience with students and families in low-income urban communities.
• Proven track record of student achievement results.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Passion for Christian education and accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement daily instruction plans aligned with long-range goals.
• Use differentiated, research-based strategies to engage students.
• Conduct interim assessments and track progress with data analysis.
• Attend faculty meetings, professional development, and school events.
• Teach or support extracurricular activities outside regular hours.
• Assist with scholar recruitment as needed.
• Model Christian values and uphold faith statements in all interactions.
• Comply with Code of Conduct and Statement of Faith.
• Engage in faith life with scholars and teammates.
• Perform other duties as requested.
