Job summary

Hope Network’s Michigan Education Corps is seeking a Reading Tutor to work with kindergartners through third grade, helping them build reading skills and confidence using scripted interventions. You’ll support students one-on-one or in pairs during the school day, with training provided. No prior teaching experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 or 1:2 with K–3 students during the school day to strengthen reading skills.
• Follow evidence-based, scripted interventions that are easy to learn and designed for consistency.
• Build positive, encouraging relationships with students.
• Track student progress with simple tools and guidance.
• Be part of a supportive team of tutors, coaches, and school staff.
