Job summary

Ampact is seeking a Math Tutor for the 2026-27 school year in Hampton, Virginia. As a Math Tutor, you will support students in improving their math skills through individualized sessions. Responsibilities include leading tutoring sessions, tracking progress, and conducting assessments.

The position is full-time with 35 hours per week, running from August 2026 to May 2027, Monday to Friday. Part-time positions are also available, providing the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working with young learners.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to successfully complete a background check.
• History of good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Lead tutoring sessions and ensure students receive support.
• Track student progress and meet with the school's coach regularly.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter scores in data software.
