Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate thorough knowledge and competence of subject matter associated with teaching assignment.
• Assess the accomplishments of students on a regular basis and provide progress reports as required.

• Prepare lessons for all content areas.
• Integrate technology into lessons to support student achievement.
• Develop and maintain a classroom environment conducive to effective learning within the limits of the resources provided by the school.
• Encourage students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior.
• Uphold district philosophy and instructional goals; protect students and school property.
• Maintain accurate records as required by law and policy.
• Collaborate with teachers and paraprofessionals; attend meetings and trainings.
• May require toileting.
