The K–2 MOID (Moderate Intellectual Disability) Teacher provides specialized instruction and support to students with moderate intellectual disabilities in grades K–2. The teacher develops and implements IEPs, delivers differentiated and individualized instruction aligned to state standards, and supports students’ academic, functional, social, and behavioral growth. The role includes collaborating with general education teachers, related service providers, paraprofessionals, and families to ensure students access a structured, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
