Job summary

Prep Academy Tutors is a private in-home tutoring company serving Miami, Florida. We hire qualified teachers and subject matter experts to deliver personalized K–12 tutoring in students’ homes, with competitive wages and flexible hours.

We seek energetic educators and experts who can teach both Math and Science and adapt to diverse learning styles, while maintaining strong communication with families and offering enrichment and remediation as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or in-progress teaching certification candidate.
• Two+ years of private or charter school classroom teaching experience preferred.
• Experience teaching or tutoring K–12 Math and/or Science is preferred.
• Energetic and enthusiastic teachers able to reach diverse learners.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic support to K–12 students based on state curriculum knowledge.
• Provide supplemental assignments to promote understanding of material.
• Offer remedial and enrichment support for students.
• Communicate with parents or guardians to discuss student progress.
• Tailor instruction to individual student needs.
