Job summary

RCM Health Care Services is hiring Teacher Assistants to support K to 12 schools and districts in Charleston, SC. This in-person role provides classroom support during school hours, with a daily rate of $120 and long-term assignments at $130 per day.

Under the direction of the classroom teacher, you will assist with instructional activities, supervision, and materials preparation to help maintain a positive and productive learning environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience working with children or in educational settings preferred.
• Credentials include background check and any required onboarding or training prior to assignment.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teacher with instructional activities and daily classroom routines.
• Provide individual and small group support to reinforce classroom instruction.
• Help maintain a safe, organized, and productive classroom environment.
• Supervise students during classroom activities, transitions, lunch, recess, and other assigned times.
• Assist with preparing instructional materials, classroom organization, and other classroom support duties.
• Support students in following classroom expectations and school procedures.

Education
