Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is partnering with a Saint Louis, MO school district to staff a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC). The role focuses on teletherapy for K–12 students, conducting assessments and developing IEP-driven plans.

The clinician will provide direct and indirect services, participate in IEP meetings, and collaborate with educators and families to support student success while ensuring compliance with education regulations.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current state Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA, or CF eligibility.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments to identify communication disorders and determine eligibility for special education services.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and goals in accordance with students' IEPs.
  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students individually and in group settings.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop appropriate educational programming.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including evaluation reports, progress notes, treatment plans, and Medicaid billing documentation (if applicable).
  • Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies based on data and outcomes.
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, support staff, and families regarding communication needs and strategies to support student success.
  • Provide recommendations for classroom accommodations and assistive technology when appropriate.
  • Support compliance with federal, state, and district regulations related to special education and speech-language services.
