Job summary

Special Services in Moses Lake, WA seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to support students district-wide. The role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and delivering therapy for speech, language, and related communication needs from early learning through high school.

The SLP will work with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to implement IEPs, ensure data-informed progress, and uphold equity and inclusion in education.

Qualifications

  • Valid Washington State ESA certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Possession of or eligibility for the ASHA CCC-SLP or participation in a CFY.
  • Valid Washington State driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource for school staff in speech-language programs.
  • Conduct evaluations to identify students with speech-language impairments and determine eligibility for services.
  • Provide direct and consultative services as outlined in students' IEPs, adjusting interventions based on data.
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate communication goals across settings.
  • Maintain records in accordance with district, state, and federal requirements.
