Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) Belvidere is seeking a School Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to support evaluation, treatment, and progress monitoring for students with communication disorders under a licensed SLP.

You will deliver direct therapy, assist with documentation, and assist in progress reporting while collaborating with teachers, families, and other service providers in a supportive school setting. A related degree and SLPA training are required.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field
• Completion of an approved SLPA training program preferred
• CPR/BLS certification may be required

Responsibilities

• Assist supervising SLP in delivering direct speech and language therapy.
• Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and progress under privacy policies.
• Collaborate with teachers and families to support student communication goals.
• Organize therapy materials and coordinate scheduling of sessions
