Job summary

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Georgia certification.
  • Certification as required and Highly Qualified per No Child Left Behind guidelines.
  • Ability to implement appropriate instructional methodologies and use technology in planning and evaluation.

Responsibilities

  • Plans a program of study meeting individual needs with collaboration.
  • Creates a safe, conducive classroom environment for all students.
  • Uses differentiation strategies and the Pyramid of Intervention to support students.
  • Monitors and evaluates student outcomes; communicates with staff, students, and parents.
  • Maintains confidentiality of student records and information.
  • Participates in IEP meetings and integrates speech-language goals across settings.
