Amergis is seeking a Special Education Teacher in Framingham, MA. The role is contract - full time, paying $43 per hour, with 40 hours weekly.

The teacher will deliver services to special education students from kindergarten through grade 12 and work closely with the Special Education Program Administrator and general education staff. Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree, valid state teaching certificate, and preferred endorsements such as LBS1.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university preferred.
• Valid state teaching certificate as required by state, contract/district regulations.
• Minimum of one year experience in teaching environment preferred.
• Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred.
• State Teacher Certification: Type: Standard Elementary Teaching preferred.
• State Teacher Certification: Type: Standard Secondary Teaching preferred.
• State Teacher Certification: Type: Standard Special Teaching preferred.
• CPR certification, TB questionnaire or chest x-ray, and health certificate as applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Provides quality services to special education students from kindergarten through grade 12.
• Participates in planning and implementation of student programs with general education staff.
• Delivers special instruction, tutorial assistance and consultation as needed.
