Job summary

Concorde Education is seeking independent instructional contractors to provide Spanish language enrichment services for K–12 students at partner schools. This is a potential independent contractor assignment, not an employee position.

Sessions range from 1–4 instructional hours per week after school, with compensation typically $50+ per completed hour and varies by assignment. Assignments differ by school, grade level, schedule, curriculum, student proficiency, and program objectives.

Qualifications

• 60 college credits required by assignment/site.
• Proficiency in spoken and written Spanish.
• Experience teaching, tutoring, coaching, or leading activities with school-age students.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate engaging, age-appropriate Spanish language enrichment sessions.
• Introduce foundational Spanish vocabulary, pronunciation, listening, reading, and writing.
• Adapt instruction based on student age, proficiency level, site requirements, and assignment objectives.
• Encourage student participation through games, songs, storytelling, role-playing, and real-world communication exercises.
• Introduce traditions, geography, customs, holidays, music, and other cultural topics from Spanish-speaking countries.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, inclusive learning environment.
• Exercise professional judgment when selecting instructional materials and ensure content is educational, culturally respectful and age-appropriate.
• Communicate assignment-related needs or concerns with Concorde and school staff.
• Complete a brief session completion form after each scheduled session.
• Follow site safety, visitor, emergency, student-protection, and technology procedures.
