Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing seeks a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to support K-12 students in a school-based setting. The role offers a consistent 37.5-hour week, collaboration with licensed SLPs and classroom teams, and opportunities to advance clinical skills within a dynamic education environment.

You will provide direct therapy under supervision, help implement IEPs, assist with screenings and progress monitoring, and collaborate with teachers and parents to promote student success.

Qualifications

• Active SLP-A certification in Texas.
• Experience or coursework in pediatric or school-based speech-language services.
• Familiarity with working alongside multidisciplinary teams in educational environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct therapy services to K12 students under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
• Assist in the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Support speech and language screenings, progress monitoring, and documentation.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other therapists to maximize student success.
• Prepare materials and contribute to assessments as directed.
