Qualifications

• Holds a current and valid ME SLI License.
• Strong proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL).
• K-12 experience highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct sign language interpretation between students, staff, and teachers in classroom and school activities
• Support a diverse K-12 caseload, offering age-appropriate communication facilitation
• Foster inclusive learning by ensuring all students have access to classroom instruction and school events
• Aid in the development of communication strategies tailored for individual student needs
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to provide optimal support for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students
