Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist the deaf education teacher with classroom activities.
• Maintain and submit schedules to GBCDHH Director.

Skills

Ability to work well with children

Knowledge of Deaf culture

Ability to use sign language

Knowledge of interpreter role and code of ethics

Education

High School Diploma/GED

Educational Aide Certification III

Certificate in Interpreting
