Job summary

Concorde Education is seeking independent instructional contractors to provide engaging, hands-on science enrichment services for K–12 students at partner schools. Assignments vary by school and grade level; contractors may plan, facilitate, and adapt experiments, demonstrations, and investigations.

Typical hours are after school and length about 10 weeks per assignment. Compensation is typically $50+ per completed instructional service hour, with payment terms described in each assignment;

Qualifications

• At least 60 college credits, as required by the assignment or site.
• Experience teaching, tutoring, or leading activities with school-age students.
• Ability to explain science concepts through hands-on instruction.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate age-appropriate science enrichment sessions.
• Introduce concepts via experiments, demonstrations, investigations, and project-based learning.
• Adapt activities to student levels, site requirements, and materials.
• Guide observation, data collection, and scientific inquiry with students.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Complete a brief session form after each scheduled session.
