Job summary

Soliant is seeking a contracted School Psychologist to support K-12 students for the upcoming academic year. This role emphasizes psychoeducational assessments, interventions, and collaboration with educators and families to promote students' social, emotional, and educational growth.

Start date is August 12 and runs through the full school year. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, interpret results for IEP goals, provide short-term counseling and behavior strategies, and participate in

Qualifications

• Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field.
• Valid state certification or ability to obtain school psychologist credential.
• Experience in school settings, providing psychological services to children and adolescents.
• Proficient in conducting psychoeducational assessments and creating individualized educational recommendations.
• Effective communicator comfortable working with diverse teams, students, and families.
• Knowledge of RTI/MTSS framework and special education laws.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate cognitive, academic, behavioral, and socio-emotional needs.
• Interpret assessment results and provide actionable recommendations for IEPs.
• Offer short-term counseling, crisis intervention, and behavior management strategies.
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, administrators, and family members to address student needs.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to eligibility, intervention, and transition planning.
• Provide support for school-wide positive behavior and mental health initiatives.
• Maintain thorough documentation of services provided.
• Adhere to ethical guidelines and state and federal regulations.
