A full-time Registered Nurse (RN) position is available to provide comprehensive healthcare services in a K-12 school setting. This contract role covers a maternity leave from the end of September through December, supporting students across all grade levels within the school community.

Location: Redlands, CA

Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 - 40 hours per week

Duration: Contract from late September to December

Age Group: K-12 students

Responsibilities

Deliver nursing care and health assessments to students within the school environment
Manage and document student health records in compliance with regulatory requirements
Respond promptly to injuries, illnesses, and emergencies during school hours
Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to support student wellness
Implement health education programs and promote healthy practices among students and staff
Maintain a safe and sanitary healthcare setting in school facilities

Qualifications

Active RN license in the state of California
Experience with pediatric or school nursing preferred
Strong knowledge of common childhood illnesses, injuries, and chronic conditions affecting school-aged children
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with students, families, and school personnel
CPR and first aid certification
