AXL Academy in Aurora, CO is seeking a School-Based Mental Health Provider who may be a School Counselor, School Social Worker, or School Psychologist. You will deliver direct counseling, develop wellness supports, and promote equitable student outcomes within our school community.

You will collaborate with teachers, families, and MTSS teams, participate in prevention programs, crisis response, and ensure compliance with 504/IEP requirements.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in a related mental health field and eligibility for relevant Colorado license.
• Colorado Special Services Provider license or eligibility (School Counselor/School Social Worker/School Psychologist).
• Experience delivering direct mental health services to children or adolescents.
• Knowledge of crisis response, trauma-informed care, and MTSS.

Aufgaben

• Provide direct counseling and mental health services addressing social-emotional, behavioral, academic, and wellness needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and support teams to plan interventions.
• Maintain confidential documentation and ensure compliance with FERPA and district policies.
• Support 504 and IEP-related services when appropriately qualified and assigned.
• Deliver trauma-informed de-escalation and crisis response as needed.
