Responsibilities

• Promote the mental, physical, emotional and social growth of any student assigned.
• Uses available instructional materials and a variety of techniques to provide opportunities for student achievement and development.
• Maintains an attractive classroom and keeps accurate records including attendance and grade reports.
• Plans and prepares for classes and submits lesson plans weekly.
• Reports regularly to assigned work locations and notifies the principal of any absences.
• Cooperates with school-based and central office personnel and engages with parents about student progress.
• Conforms to laws concerning education, health, safety and welfare of students.
