Qualifications

• Proven experience as a paraprofessional or in related school support roles.
• Flexible and adaptable to varying assignments and classroom needs (including 1:1 and general support).
• Comfortable assisting with toileting, changing, and behavioral support.
• Holds an active Missouri Substitute Certificate, or has passed the ParaPro Exam with transcripts on file (verification via DESE website required).
• Willingness to work across multiple school sites and grade levels.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers and support staff.

Responsibilities

• Support students in academic and daily activities, including students with disabilities.
• Provide individualized and small group instruction under teacher direction.
• Assist with classroom management, behavioral interventions, and basic care needs.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment for all students.
• Follow school protocols and ensure confidentiality of student information.
