Job summary

The Hawaii State Department of Education seeks an educator to support 24 schools across the Honoka'a-Kealakehe-Kohala-Konawaena (HKKK) complex area, partnering with both DOE and Charter campuses to promote student achievement.

You will work with school leaders to implement high-quality teaching practices, participate in ongoing professional development, and help ensure instructional consistency across the complex.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required for teacher, librarian or counselor positions.
• If hired without completing a Teacher's Education Program, you have a maximum of 3 years to obtain a valid Hawaii teaching license.
• You must enroll in a Program to continue employment with the Department.
• Upon hire you will need to have a valid Hawaii teaching license or Emergency Hire Permit.

Responsibilities

• Support 24 schools in the Honoka`a-Kealakehe-Kohala-Konawaena (HKKK) complex area.
• Ensure compliance with Hawaii licensing requirements and HTSB guidelines.
