Barnegat Township School District seeks an experienced Music Teacher to lead Instrumental music for students from K through 12. The role focuses on diverse performance repertoires and student growth in ensemble settings.

Candidates must hold a valid NJ Instructional Certificate in Music and demonstrate knowledge of the 2014 NJ Student Learning Standards for Visual & Performing Arts. Vocal music experience and ability to differentiate instruction are preferred; background clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Valid NJ Instructional Certificate: Teacher of Music (CE, CEAS, Provisional, Standard)
• Knowledge of 2014 NJ Student Learning Standards for Visual & Performing Arts
• Experience with vocal music preferred
• Knowledge/Experience with Danielson's Framework for Teaching (a plus)
• Willingness to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students
• Mandatory criminal history background check and P.L. 2018 c.5 clearance
• Salary beginning at $63,089.00
