Job summary

Barnegat Township School is seeking a Long Term Substitute for Instrumental/Band Teacher at Robert L. Horbelt Elementary School.

The candidate must hold a valid NJ Teacher of Music certificate and be prepared to support music education in a K-5 setting. Knowledge of the 2014 NJ Student Learning Standards for Visual & Performing Arts and familiarity with Danielson's Framework for Teaching are preferred, with a focus on differentiating instruction to meet diverse student needs.

Qualifications

• Valid NJ Instructional Certificate: Teacher of Music (CE, CEAS, Provisional, Standard).
• Knowledge of 2014 NJ Student Learning Standards for Visual & Performing Arts.
• Knowledge/Experience with Danielson's Framework for Teaching (a plus).
• Willingness to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students.
• Mandatory criminal history background check and P.L. 2018 c.5 clearance.
• Employed through the district's substitute company ESS.
