Job summary

Poudre School District seeks a Paraprofessional, Instructional K-12 at Timnath Elementary to support classroom teachers and students in 1-to-1, small, and large group settings. The role includes preparing materials, assisting with tests, and monitoring student progress in a dynamic elementary environment.

The position is non-exempt, offers health and retirement benefits, and requires a high school diploma with at least one year of related experience; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of related experience.
• Experience working with students in a school setting preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.
• If assigned to a Title I school, at least two years of higher education or an associate’s degree or WorkKeys competency.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teacher with instruction and reinforce learning in groups.
• Prepare materials, administer tests, grade, take attendance, and document student achievement.
• Monitor students during breaks, lunch, field trips, and remote learning.
• Support teacher and administration with special projects and events.
• Attend in-services, meetings, IEPs, and parent conferences.
• Administer state testing in small groups.
