Job summary

AIMS College Prep Charter District is seeking a Coordinator of K–12 Teaching and Learning to drive instructional quality district‑wide from TK through 12th grade. You will lead learning walks, coach teachers, and design PD aligned to literacy, math, and college readiness.

Collaborate with Heads of School, department heads, and the CAO to ensure consistent implementation of standards‑based instruction, data‑driven planning, and equitable access for all students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• California teaching credential or other appropriate educational credential preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of successful teaching experience.
• Experience providing instructional coaching, professional development, teacher leadership, or curriculum support.
• Experience analyzing student achievement and instructional data.
• Experience working collaboratively with school leaders and teachers.
• Strong knowledge of standards-aligned instruction, assessment, curriculum, and instructional best practices.
• Strong written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse population of students, families, educators, and community members.
• Successful clearance of Department of Justice fingerprinting and tuberculosis screening protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular K–12 learning walks and classroom visits.
• Provide instructional coaching to TK–12 teachers and leaders.
• Lead and facilitate high-quality professional development.
• Develop PLCs and data-informed instruction across TK–12.
• Support MTSS, literacy, and mathematics initiatives across grade levels.
