Jefferson County Schools seeks Homebound Instructors to support students in the SOMO program in Charles Town, WV. The role involves delivering instruction, collecting plans, and coordinating with classroom teachers to monitor progress.

As needed employment with exempt status, incumbents will implement IEPs/504 plans, maintain professional conduct, and collaborate with families to support student learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsabilités

• Facilitate instruction aligned to core content standards and objectives as guided by classroom teachers.
• Collect, secure, and understand instructional plans to be delivered to students.
• Deliver assignments and instruction to students and monitor testing.
• Return student work to classroom teachers for assessment.
• Maintain strong communication with students, parents and peers.
• Address IEPS and 504 Plans and recommend revisions when needed.
• Meet professional responsibilities and adhere to the Teacher Code of Conduct.
