As an independent contractor instructor, you may lead sessions, use prepared materials or contribute your own expertise, with schedules varying by program and site. Compensation ranges from $50 to $65 per instructional hour and opportunities span throughout the academic year.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge or practical experience in at least one relevant subject area.
• Experience teaching, mentoring, coaching, tutoring, or working with children and teenagers.
• Ability to explain concepts clearly and engage groups of students.
• Professional communication, dependability, and organizational skills.
• Comfort working within established school procedures and instructional expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead interactive instructional sessions for students.
• Introduce concepts through demonstrations, discussions, projects, and practical activities.
• Prepare lessons or activities aligned with program objectives.
• Encourage curiosity, participation, collaboration, and skill development.
• Provide supervision and maintain a respectful learning environment.
• Adjust instructional approaches for different learning levels.
• Coordinate with school contacts and Concorde Education regarding logistics.
• Follow site policies and assignment expectations.
• Fulfill responsibilities and schedules of accepted assignments.
