Qualifications

• Pass the ETS ParaPro Assessment with the required score or pass the ETS ParaPathways exams with the required scores.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties under direct supervision, including tutorial activities and basic caregiving tasks.
• Handle physical tasks such as lifting and assisting with mobility and transfers.
• Support instructional activities and record data as directed.
• Assist students individually or in groups, including in inclusive settings.
• Score objective tests and maintain daily activity logs as required.
• Follow school policies on schedules, discipline, and safety.
• Attend IEP and other staff meetings as requested.
• Perform additional duties assigned by supervisor or superintendent.

Education

Two years of college (48 credit hours)

AA/AS/AS degree

ETS ParaPro Assessment passing score 450
