Academian, an education-focused solutions firm, seeks a VP of K-12 Content Solutions to shape and grow its US portfolio. The leader will work with publishers and EdTech partners to develop new programs, customize state standards, and modernize content with AI-enabled workflows.

The role combines deep editorial judgement with solution design, executive client engagement, and growth accountability for the portfolio. You will guide cross-functional teams and drive scalable, high-quality programs.

Qualificações

• 10+ years of leadership in U.S. K-12 educational publishing, curriculum development, or related content solutions.
• Strong understanding of K-12 curriculum design, standards alignment, and publishing workflows.
• Experience leading complex content programs from discovery to launch.
• Ability to develop client relationships and lead proposals and executive discussions.
• Ability to define scopes, estimate delivery effort, and guide distributed teams.
• Willingness to travel ~25%.

Responsabilidades

• Own the strategy and roadmap for K-12 content solutions and identify revenue opportunities.
• Design offerings for curriculum development, editorial services, and content modernization.
• Advise clients on content architecture, metadata, and AI-enabled workflows.
• Lead discovery with publishers and EdTech executives and translate requirements into plans.
• Partner with Sales on proposals, pricing inputs, and client presentations.
• Guide cross-functional teams to ensure editorial quality, standards alignment, and production expectations.
• Build scalable delivery models linking onshore leadership with distributed production and AI workflows.
• Assess project economics, staffing, risks, and profitability without sacrificing quality.
• Build and coach a small team of content solution leaders and represent Academian in industry forums.
