Job summary

Highlands School District is seeking a dynamic Career and Workforce Readiness Coordinator (K-12) to lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive program. The successful candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure students are prepared for postsecondary education and career success.

This role requires strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills, as well as experience in career readiness initiatives and student development. A valid Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate is mandatory, and a Master's Degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years successful teaching experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Pennsylvania Career Education and Work Standards.
• Experience coordinating internships, apprenticeships, or work-based learning programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of comprehensive K-12 Career and Workforce Readiness Program.
• Coordinate career exploration opportunities for K-12 students.
• Establish relationships with local employers and industry partners.
