You will assist with practice planning, player development, supervision, and game management while upholding the school's mission and values. This seasonal stipend role requires evening commitments and travel to competitions in the Portland area.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching, teaching, or leading youth programs.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Completion of NFHS and OSAA coaching certifications.
• Reliable transportation to attend practices and events in the Portland area.
• Three or more years of coaching or athletic leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Coach in planning and conducting practices to develop players and team success.
• Assist with preparation and execution of practices, games, and program activities.
• Supervise student-athletes during practices, games, travel, and team activities.
• Communicate with student-athletes, families, and stakeholders about team expectations and activities.
• Support equipment management and other operational needs of the basketball program.
