Job summary

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains a productive sports program.
• Provides and ensures safety and proper first aid procedures for all student athletes.
• Promotes and maintains positive relationships with parents and student athletes.
• Conducts parent meetings prior to the season; discusses lettering policy and insurance information.
• Ensures program compliance with school, district, and SC High School League rules.
• Communicates policies, rules, and requirements to team members.
• Oversees equipment distribution, inventory, and maintenance; ensures eligibility for lettering.
• Reports scores and results to the media after each contest as necessary.
• Attends coaches’ meetings and rules clinics; supports booster club activities.
• Performs other related duties as required.
