Job summary

Centreville Public Schools in Centreville, MI is seeking a Junior Varsity Volleyball Coach Assistant to support our athletic program. You will assist the head coach with practices, game-day duties, and student-athlete development, under direction from the Athletic Director.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong ethics, can serve as a positive role model for athletes, communicates well with players, parents, and staff, and has a clear understanding of volleyball fundamentals.

Qualifications

• Exhibit high moral and ethical conduct and display a positive value system.
• Be a positive role model for the athletes.
• Demonstrate a clear understanding of the sport to be coached.
• Display good judgment in dealing with parents, team, administration, public, and the media.
• Serve as an effective mentor/leader.
• Desire to be a part of the district-wide Bulldog team.

Responsibilities

• The coach shall be directly responsible to the Athletic Director for the administration, supervision, and evaluation of matters pertaining to his/her assigned areas of responsibility.
• He/she is responsible for the organization, coordination, and interpretation of the sport.

Education

A valid Michigan Teacher's Certificate.
