Job summary

Niles Community Schools is seeking a dynamic Junior Varsity Softball Head Coach for the 2026-2027 school year to strengthen the program and culture. The coach will develop athletes, teach softball skills, and lead a positive, driven team environment.

Collaborative work with the Varsity coach and Athletic Director is essential. Strong communication, leadership, and supervisory skills are required to effectively mentor student-athletes, coordinate practice plans, and represent the program with

Qualifications

• Softball coaching experience
• Supervisory experience with youths
• Teach baseball skills and develop team atmosphere

Responsibilities

• Facilitate both off-season and in-season Softball program
• Support the program and work with Varsity Softball Coach and Athletic Director on all aspects of program
• Follow the rules and regulations of the MHSAA and Niles Community Schools
• Coordinate parent/family communication
• Other duties as assigned
