Job summary

Bishop Blanchet High School in Seattle, WA is seeking a JV Softball Assistant Coach for the 2026-2027 spring season. Applicants should be 21 or older, have a valid Washington driver's license, and hold current First Aid/CPR/AED certification; JUCO, NAIA, and D1-3 experience is preferred but not required.

This position reports to the Athletic Director and involves practice and game supervision from 3-9 pm, compliance with policies, developing players, teaching rules, and encouraging summer

Qualifications

• Applicants age 21+
• Valid Washington State driver’s license required
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Compliance with Bishop Blanchet HS, Metro League, and WIAA policies.
• Supervision of student-athletes during all team activities (3–9pm practice/games Mon–Sat).
• Effective communication with players, coaching colleagues, and parents.
• Promotion of sportsmanship and fair play among team members.
• Developing players through skill development and teaching game rules.
• Encouragement of Summer Activities and Camps.
