Job summary

Bishop Blanchet High School in Seattle, WA, is seeking a Head JV Softball Coach for the 2026-2027 spring season. Applicants with JUCO, NAIA, and D1-3 experience, but not required, previous coaching at HS level, 21 years or older, possessing a valid Washington State driver's license are preferred. This position reports to the Athletic Director.

Softball is a spring sport. The season runs from March 1 through May 22, 2027.

Qualifications

• 21 years or older.
• WA driver's license required.
• First Aid/CPR/AED certification preferred.
• Coaching experience at high school level preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of student-athletes during all team activities, including practices and games (3-9pm, Mon-Sat).
• Effective communication with players, coaching colleagues, and parents.
• Promotion of sportsmanship and fair play.
• Developing players through skill development.
• Teaching the rules of the game and technique to improve player development.
• Summer activities and camp participation encouraged.
