Job summary

Brevard Public Schools is seeking a full-time lacrosse coach (boys/girls) for the ACCESS project at EGHS in Melbourne, FL. The ideal candidate will hold a BA/BS in a FLDOE-certified subject area, possess a Florida Athletic Coaching Certification, and have 2–5 years of varsity-level coaching experience.

CPR certification and eligibility for the professional coaching certificate are noted requirements; temporary certificates are mentioned with limitations.

Qualifications

• Education: BA/BS from a regionally accredited program/university in FLDOE certificate subject area.
• Preferred Certification: Florida Instructional Certification (any subject) REQ OR Education: BA/BS with Florida Athletic Coaching Certification.
• Experience: Two (2) years documented sport-specific coaching experience; extensive knowledge of the sport at competition level.
• Three (3) to (5) years documented sport-specific coaching experience; substitutions: college level coaching may substitute for high school coaching.
