Job summary

Brevard Public Schools ACCESS Project c/o EGHS - Melbourne, Florida, is seeking a Head Lacrosse Coach for both boys and girls. This full-time role requires FLDOE instructional certification, a Florida Athletic Coaching Certification, and extensive coaching experience at the secondary level.

The candidate will lead practices, manage a large group of student-athletes, and ensure safe competitive conditions in alignment with district policies. Starting date is To Be Determined.

Qualifications

• Education: BA/BS from regionally accredited program in FLDOE subject area.
• Certification: Florida Instructional Certification (any subject) required.
• Coaching: Florida Athletic Coaching Certification required or eligible for extension.
• Two years coaching experience at secondary level; leadership of large groups of athletes.
• Temporary certificates not renewable; CPR/AHA card expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead lacrosse program for boys and girls; oversee practices and games.
• Develop coaching plans, safety protocols and athlete development.
• Ensure compliance with Florida Department of Education coaching standards.
