Job summary

Ann Arbor Public Schools is seeking an Assistant Freshman Football Coach at Skyline High School. The role reports to the Athletic Director and involves supporting coaching staff and developing athletes’ skills throughout the season.

The position is non-contractual and hourly, with expectations for regular attendance, clinics participation, and adherence to MHSA/policy guidelines. This role emphasizes teamwork and community engagement within the school athletic program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledgeable about sport rules and fundamental techniques.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification when applicable.
• Ability to work effectively with sport coaching staff, parents and school staff.

• Develop positive self image with athletics.
• Attends clinics/workshops related to sport.

• Demonstrates effective management of pre-contest details.
• Regular, reliable and punctual attendance.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: This position reports directly to the Athletic Director

NON-CONTRACTUAL (HOURLY)

STAFF HIRED WILL BECOME AN EMPLOYEE OF PCMI (THIRD PARTY ADMINISTRATOR).

CURRENT CONTRACT STAFF WILL REMAIN ON PAYROLL WITH AAPS.

QUALIFICATIONS:
